Emily & Joseph’s Wedding at Aikton Church & The Greenhill Hotel nr Wigton

Our congratulations to Emily and Joseph who’s ceremony was held at the lovely rural Norman church of St Andrews’ followed by a short ride to The Greenhill Hotel for their reception. The hotel’s grounds, front architecture and beautiful inside staircase made the perfect backdrop for some wonderfully romantic images of them on their wedding day. Emily and Joseph always looked relaxed and at ease in front of the camera enabling us to quickly capture a wide range of both formal and informal shots so that their album can tell a story of memories special to them and their families.

Sarah & Phil’s Pre-Wedding Shoot at Haweswater and Bampton

Our pre-wedding meetings with clients are always a great photo-opportunity to produce images for bespoke guest-books, sign-boards or wedding invitations. Here we have Sarah and Phil out on a relaxed stroll in the Cumbrian countryside which soon makes them feel at ease in front of a camera and provides the opportunity to show how we will work with them when their wedding day arrives.

Elspeth & Stephen’s Wedding at Bowness Church and The Linthwaite Hotel nr Windermere

Elspeth and Stephen’s wedding had all the key ingredients for a fun and lively wedding day. The church service in Bowness-on-Windermere; a quirky vintage bus as transport and the magical location of the Linthwaite House Hotel and gardens overlooking Lake Windermere, all provided endless opportunities for stunning photographs of their special day.

Clare & Matthew’s Wedding at Dent Church & Merewood Hotel nr Windermere

The Lake District in Cumbria is an amazingly beautiful place to get married, especially when done in style. Clare and Matthew chose to be married at church in their lovely home town of Dent followed by their reception at The Merewood Country House Hotel near Windermere, providing a perfect backdrop and atmosphere for creating treasured images of their wedding day. As photographers, it was especially rewarding to spend the whole day with Clare and Matthew to document their wedding from getting ready in the morning through until the evening jazz-band entertainment, enabling us to create a story-book Queensbury album for them.

Vow Renewal Ceremony on Shore of Tarn Howes

Earlier this summer we had the privilege and great fun of photographing Sam and Stewart who had decided to renew their wedding vows. Their non-religious ceremony took place on the idyllic shores of Tarn Howes, in the Lake District, in glorious evening sunshine and was conducted by Debra Jessett ( http://www.inspirationalceremonies.co.uk). The ceremony concluded with a reading by Debra as Sam, Stuart and family released Chinese lanterns into the evening sky giving the perfect end to the day before heading back to the National Trust car park.

Boudoir Shoot – Liz

Fun, sexy, sensual and always tasteful, our bespoke boudoir sessions are always sensitive and designed to match clients’ own taste. With kind permission from Liz, we are pleased to be able to show you a few shots from Liz’s stylish Queensbury Demi-Album. The session was held in the comfort and familiarity of Liz’s own home putting her at ease and enabling us to capture gorgeous relaxed photographs.
